Equipment

So I think we're going to have all the equipment we need for this summer. Justin, let me know if you can think of anything else we'll need.

Here's the list thus far:
  • Fast laptop with
    • GRLevel3 with alternate, reliable data feed
    • Live maps (for navigation)
    • GPS Gate
    • Firefox
    • Spotter Network
    • BUFKIT
  • Laptop stand for in-truck
  • North America-wide internet
  • GPS

I can hardly wait!

    Maybe design a web page like weather central that specifically has all of the stuff one would need when in intercept mode so you're not scrambling and waiting for data rich sites to load. Internet signal drops to below 3G in most places making it harder for the simplest of pages to load. Having only one page load with all of your important images/information would be better even if it takes time to load...because once it finally loads...it's all there for ya.

    Justin--good call. I've got such pages already in place, but they're fairly primitive (maybe a good thing) but they need updating. I'll get on it.
